Inner West Sydney · licensed electrician · based in the Inner West
Tesla, Zappi, Wallbox, Fronius — or the charger that came with your car. Dedicated circuit, safety switch and the compliance certificate, all included.
From $1,390 installed · charger supplied separately · GST included
Most Inner West homes land between $1,200 and $2,500 fully installed. Here is what moves the number, so you can see where you sit before anyone knocks on the door.
from $1,390
Single-phase 7 kW charger within 15 m of the switchboard, spare capacity on the board. The typical terrace with a rear garage, or a freestanding home with a carport.
+ $150–300 per 10 m
Board at the front, car at the back? Cable, conduit and the labour to route it neatly along the side of the house or through the roof space.
+ $800–1,500
Old ceramic fuses or no safety switches. Plenty of older Inner West homes need this, and it protects the whole house, not just the charger.
Three-phase 22 kW installs, apartment car spaces (strata paperwork) and core drilling through brick are quoted per job. Every price is fixed before we start and includes GST.

Marco calls you back with a firm number and a date. No site-visit fee, no surprises on the day.
Most jobs take three to five hours. We test the charger with your car before we leave.
Your Certificate of Compliance is lodged with NSW Building Commission and sent to you. Ausgrid is notified where needed.
We are not tied to one brand. We install what suits your car, your switchboard and your budget, or the unit you already have in the box.
The obvious pick for a Tesla, and it charges any EV with a Type 2 plug. Wi-Fi, app scheduling, 7 kW single-phase or 22 kW three-phase.
Built for solar homes: charges from your rooftop surplus, with a boost mode for when you need a full battery by morning.
Compact, quiet, great app. Load management built in if your switchboard is close to its limit.
Pairs with a Fronius solar inverter for the tightest solar-to-car charging on the market.
Australian-supported units with local warranty and clear pricing. Good value single-phase chargers.
Already have a charger from the dealer? We install it, set it up and certify it just the same.
Single-phase 7 kW adds roughly 40 km of range per hour — a full overnight charge for almost every car. Three-phase 22 kW is worth it only if your home already has three-phase supply.
Most Victorian and Federation terraces run on single-phase supply. A 7 kW charger is the right fit, and we size the cable for the full 32 A continuous load rather than the minimum.
We tell you whether your board can take the charger as it is. If it can't, you get a fixed price for the upgrade and a clear reason, not a scare.
Under NSW strata law, EV charging counts as sustainability infrastructure. The owners corporation can't refuse on looks, and the vote threshold is lower. We prepare the paperwork and the load assessment they ask for.
Got panels? A Zappi or Wattpilot charges your car from the surplus you would otherwise export for cents. We wire it to your inverter and set the modes up for you.

A standard single-phase install starts at $1,390 including GST, with the charger on top. Cable distance and the state of your switchboard are the two things that move the price. You get a fixed number before we book the job.
If your home has single-phase supply, which most Inner West houses do, a 7 kW charger is the answer and it fills almost any EV overnight. Three-phase 22 kW only makes sense if you already have three-phase power; upgrading the supply is an Ausgrid job that costs far more than the charger.
Yes. Any charger will run off your solar during the day. Solar-aware chargers like the Zappi and Wattpilot go further and track your surplus so the car only takes what the panels are producing.
Three to five hours for a standard job. A switchboard upgrade on the same day adds a couple of hours. You need to be home for the switchboard work and to test the charger with your car.
For a standard 7 kW single-phase charger on a home with spare capacity, no approval is needed. We lodge the notification Ausgrid asks for as part of the job. If your supply needs upgrading, that becomes an Ausgrid connection application and we walk you through it.
Usually, yes. NSW strata law treats EV charging as sustainability infrastructure: the owners corporation can't refuse on aesthetics alone and needs less than 50 % of votes against to block it. We supply the load assessment and drawings the committee asks for, and quote the cable run from your meter to your space.
The charger carries its manufacturer's warranty, typically two to three years. Our installation work is covered by the Certificate of Compliance and NSW consumer guarantees, and if anything we did plays up, we come back and fix it.
Tesla owners: the Wall Connector. Solar homes: Zappi or Wattpilot. Everyone else: a Wallbox or EVNEX gives you the app and scheduling without paying for features you won't use. Send us your car and switchboard photo and we'll tell you straight.
